Heliospheric Physics Laboratory

The Heliospheric Lab tracks solar wind, solar eruptions and their effects to enhance early-warning systems for incoming space weather threats.

By developing cutting-edge instruments and models, the lab studies the solar wind and its interactions with the interstellar medium. This research improves space weather predictions, helping to protect Earth’s infrastructure and support future space missions.
